The term “real-life” sounds pretty dubious when such topics are the matter of discussion. Interwoven and incredibly complex are the two characteristics that best describe alien and UFO related conspiracy stories. Such conspiracies revolve around inexplicable events, unusual characters, almost forgotten secrets kept by the government, and the many species of extraterrestrial life forms visiting Earth, all with different intentions.

The big daddy of all alien conspiracy theories deserves the first mention. I am talking about the famous Roswell UFO happening that took place in the year 1947. A press release was issued by Air Force Base in Roswell in that eventful year. It said that an inexplicable metallic disc was discovered on a farm nearby. The press obviously found the story intriguing but soon it so happened that the statement made by the base officials was changed. They later stated that what they had discovered were actually some weather balloon’s bits and pieces. Before the official records were changed, local newspapers ran stories about this very event with giant headlines. This is how the public came to know about the UFO discovery by the air force.

This conspiracy has been stuck in people’s minds since that time. Many records related to this story have been uncovered including substantial cover-ups, several UFO crash places, and one story about autopsy carried out on an alien creature. A movie was made in the year 1995 based on this autopsy event. The footage shown in the movie was later discredited when the makers of the movie admitted that “most” part of the autopsy clipping was unreal.

Some of the believers still stand by the limited records that are present and truly believe that the bodies of the aliens were secretly moved to some military enclave.

Another conspiracy theory that is most talked about is related to Area 51 which is one of the military enclaves. This base has been a secret for years with message boards around the place that warn that the ones who trespass will be shot. Also, it’s a no-fly zone. The experts studying conspiracy theories say that whatever is visible of Area 51 is merely the tip of an iceberg. There are allegations that this military base has underground elaborate laboratories, extra-terrestrial runway, hidden tunnels and special research programs being carried out for alien technology of revere-engineering.

In one of the interesting revelations by two ex-employees of Area 51, it was stated that they worked with an alien named “J-Rod” on some projects related to telepathic translator devices and cloning alien viruses.

It is a vast network of alleged UFO based government cover-ups. Area 51 is one of the examples. The mystery behind this military base still continues.

I will try to find more such conspiracy theories. I think these are pretty interesting.
