Scientology – Is it a joke? Or is it a joke?

Caution: If you believe in scientology, don’t read this!!

Here’s a story. Long time ago, there lived an alien ruler named Xenu who controlled all planets including Earth. Our galaxy was then known as Teegeeack. Xenu detested over-population on all the 76 planets that were under his governance. 178 billion was the average population on each planet. He made a plan to lower it down.

With the support of some traitors, Xenu took control completely in order to rout loyal officers and good people. As a part of his evil plans, he carried out income tax inspections in which billions of people took part. Psychiatrists supporting him injected those people with glycol and alcohol so as to paralyze them. Those people were then put into DC8 planes in space. Paralyzed people were later deported to planet Earth through these planes and stacked at volcanoes’ bases. H-bombs were placed into volcanoes and all were killed at once.

It is not the end of story yet. Because everybody has a soul (referred to as “thetan” according to this story), tricking of souls was required so they do not come back. Xenu captured billions of souls of those killed, using special electronic traps made of electronic beams.

After capturing souls, he used boxes to pack them and took them to some huge cinemas. All souls were made to watch extraordinary 3D movies that taught them about life and how it should be, along with a lot of confusing stuff. Fake pictures were shown to them in the films and concept of Christ, God and the Devil was taught. This teaching process was called “implanting”.

After these souls were done watching films, they began to feel that they were equal and began to stick together. They formed groups of thousands. They remained as clusters and occupied bodies of few living beings that were spared.

Later on, Xenu was overthrown by officers who were loyal and got locked in one of the planet’s mountains. It is said that Xenu is alive even today and is in captivity of a force field. An eternal batter is powering that field.

This brings us to the end of story. So, today it is believed that those clusters of souls (“body thetans”) reside within us. And, if anyone desires to get rid of thetans and become a free soul, they will have to shell out a lot of money. Also, the belief of people in Christ and God is because of the film that these body thetans were made to see seventy five million years ago.

So, how did you like the story? Stupid and ridiculous? I believe so too. However church or the religion of Scientology has this story as its core belief. People who are involved in this religion would never believe in it if they knew about this tale beforehand. It is on reaching Scientology’s secret level known as OT III that you are told this story about Xenu and other crap. Then you are required to communicate telepathically with your body thetans in order to get rid of them. In order to reach this level, a lot of money is taken from you or you have to work for their system on a very low-paying job, and do years of hard work.

The intention behind telling this story is to warn you before you make up your mind to join the Scientology force. A number of scientologists working in Scientology church are unaware about this story until they reach the “secret” level. The ones who know about this story are made to keep it a secret from the ones joining Scientology.

So, if you are looking for a one true religion, or other stuff like that, will you join scientology? I’m not religious. I don’t believe in any religion, but I do believe in god. I have researched a lot about scientology, and found it to be completely fake. What are your views?

This may sound harsh (and I apologize to anyone who may be religious), but organized religion has always struck me as being nothing but a large cult. Think about it - you worship one being, admit to your faults, ask for forgiveness... and then pass around a donation bin! How is that much different from a cult where they just require you to give them money? People associate chanting with cults but an entire church full of people singing is no different. I could go on, but I think you see my point ;)

one thing about organised religions that amuses me, is that for all the preaching about giving up worldly possesions they do, some one forgot to tell the guys at the top, who never seem to be short of a few quid.

Yeah... the money grabbing thing always surprises me... Why do religious ppl need money if its the root of all evil or whatever... Btw...Are their any unorganized religions?

Maybe that was more of my point... I laugh at all religions equally.

A few weeks ago two Jahova's Witnesses knocked on my Brother In Laws front door. Being in an exeptionally good mood he invited them both in and sat them down it the living room while he went to the kitchen and made them both a cup of tea and a plate of sandwiches. He sat down next to them and asked them what they would like to talk about. They looked blankly at each other for a few minutes, then turned to my brother in law and said "We dont know..weve never got this far before........"

Was this not all founded on a dare between two schemers for a dollar? Wait. Maybe it was Xenu in a human form who initiated this whole plot! Who could the other guy of been then? Maybe a reptilian!? NO! It may of been a follower of the great hanky theory!
