Walter Haut’s Confessions about Roswell

Posted: Jan 12, 2012 by Emily

Whenever the Roswell incident seems dusted and done with, a new twist in it surfaces.

So the year was 2007 when an official declaration signed by Walter Haut became public. At Roswell base, Haut served as a public relations officer. He was the one behind the well-known press release which acknowledged possession of a "flying saucer" by US military. Later, as is documented, the military withdrew that claim, saying it was a mistake and that a weather balloon was recovered in reality.

Haut passed away in 2005, yet he left a secret authenticated affidavit behind, signed by him in 2002.The document verified his knowledge about the Roswell case. The document was not made public while he was alive as he gave strict orders not to do so. A few years after he died, the document came into possession of two authors who were then writing a book about Roswell story. It was only after release of their book that the world came to know about Walter Haut’s side of the story.

In that affidavit, Haut claimed that two UFOs crashed in Roswell and not just one. These crashes took place at distinct locations, about 30 miles apart from each other. Haut stated that first press release made on the day of crash was mainly to divert media’s and public’s attention from the second crash site.

The most interesting part of that document is where Haut has discussed about his personal contact with the UFO recovered. According to him, pieces of debris recovered from the crash site were distributed amongst officers during a round table conference. He said, all pieces had unusual markings on them and the debris had thin but very strong foil-like material.

He also claimed that he became witness to egg-shaped air-craft and canvas-covered bodies. Sizes of bodies were same as that of 10 year old kids but their heads were extraordinarily large.

Walter Haut had sworn to not reveal these secrets until he was alive. He always denied the fact that he had a personal contact with the UFO debris and other strange things recovered in Roswell.

Later, Haut was blamed for commercializing the Roswell incident. He founded a UFO museum, now being run by his daughter, in 1982 and research centre with help from Glen Dennis.

As it is, Roswell is a never ending story. New developments and revelations continue to show their head even after 60 years of that happening. You can make whatever of Haut’s side of the story but it sure has added another fascinating layer to Roswell mystery.

I dont know what i find scarier about roswel. Whether its the fact that aliens may have crashed on this planet or that two high ranking us airforce officers cant tell the difference between a weather balloon and a crashed alien aircraft.

Where there is smoke, there is fire...

Yeah... agreed.... there's got to be some alien activity involved. And I'm sure high ranking officials know about these things but they just try to over it up
