if you have H.B.O. on demand you have to watch this documentary. it's called "white light/black rain". it talks about the survivers of the a-bomb after it droped on heroshima, truely incredible. they start off telling you that 75 percent of japans population was born after 1945. they go on the street and start asking the japanese natives what major event happened in 1945, and the natives were clueless. some even asked if they were talking about an earthquake (how ironic)? it goes from there into talking to some of the survivers at ground zero, from hours before and after the explosion. if you are sensitive or squimish, then you shouldn't watch this. if you have a passion for learning or have ever thought about what it might have been like if the tables were turned, i think this will answer all your questions.
