At last I've heard BP managed to put a pressure cap on the thing last week; however oil has been leaking from the ruptured seabeds around the leak and we can't count on any accurate reporting in the media. Usage of chemical dispersants to hide the oil will results in the mass death of species in the ocean. Many cleanup workers have been made and will continue to be made sick, the CEO of BP has been removed (not that this changes anything in the company). Oil has been washing up along the east coast as well. The gulf fishing industry is destroyed, communities are destroyed yet BP is profitable and doing everything in their power to reduce the amount they have to pay in damages and human lives.. There are some early theories that this was a controlled disaster. Sad and scary.
