amazing, do you know what this is called or have more info on the effect? The helicopter blades is generating either or negative or positive charge mostly likely towards the center of the spin and the excess is discharging into the air while spinning.. looks like high voltage, low amps.. Am just wondering how its being generated.. the speed of the turning rubbing against air.. maybe the material of the propeller There are some good lectures on static electricity http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3omwHv3Cmog


I think its the blades hitting the dust particles.
