Atlantis did exist, just as many weird half human/creatures did exist. The Worlds preachers of the gospel just do not want to loose everything they have placed on book to make bucks out of idiots who believed them ! It was also their way to ensure a calm Society ! Atlantis is west of the Straights of Gibraltar 1600 km into the sea and can be viewed on the Sea floor near a range of mountains. It may just be ruins now, but this area stretches all the way, almost half way to the coast of the USA ! Use Google to look at this floor area, and note all the Ruins ! Here is a team who thinks its some where else ! The team is led by eminent pre-historian Professor Jacques Collina-Girard, aided by the two men who led the expeditions to the Titanic. They believe that using a combination of literary pointers and geological evidence they have pinned the lost city’s location to just west of the Straits of Gibraltar, on a submerged mud shoal now known as Spartel Island. I have sent E-mails to National Geographic and this person, but no answer to date ? Perhaps hope to claim the first right t its treasures ? Royalty rights have already been claimed.
