Amid the announcement (link) of two small asteroids flying by Earth today, April 6, 2011, comes a report that a huge asteroid-- 1,300 ft. in diameter-- will have a close flyby of our planet this November 8th. While the round-shaped asteroid 2005 YU55 won't be a threat to Earth this time around, it will be closely monitored by scientists. More at Space.com. (link)
