Planetary anomalies are items, shapes, structures, and the like that have been noted on the surface of planets in the solar system. For the most part, our solar system has been largely unexplored. While we have sent certain probes out into space to try to collect samples, pictures, and examine particular areas, we have not been able to visit large sections of the system, which has left a number of questions completely unanswered.

This leaves a large gap in the information we actually know for sure about planets and the solar system in general. While we do have some data from various space missions from NASA, and other government reports, there is still a great deal that we do not know.

Because of this issue, there have been a large number of theories that have surfaced regarding planetary anomalies. While the schools of thought on what these items really are vary a great deal, what remains consistent is the belief that there is more to know than what we are being told by government agencies.

People have been attempting to observe planets and the various components of the solar system with telescopes for centuries. Throughout this time, there have been high numbers of reported sightings of aliens, anomalies, and many things that simply could not be explained scientifically. Several of these findings have since been backed up with photographic evidence, which only fuels the fires of speculation.

Even though there have been a number of space missions to various planets, surface samples collected, rovers sent, and satellites launched, most of us are still left with more questions than answers to what is really beyond the confines of our own planet. The fact of the matter is there is a great deal more to know than what we have found in text books and other forms of documentation.
