Sillygoth, it may be rough as the auto industry is going to get worse before it gets better. In your new job, do you get to go out of the office? I always liked jobs where I was not in one place all the time.

I was in the military, worked for many different stores and was also a security guard among many, many jobs. The smaller jobs are very unstable as new managers love to fire all the workers and hire their own crew. I fell victim to that many, many times. I liked the variety of my jobs, as I learned all about what makes this country tick. The low wage people are the backbone of the country, and they are nickled and dimed to death.

okirun: Thank you for being a teacher. That is one of the most under appreciated jobs out there. Third graders (eight and nine year olds) are brats and it takes a wonderful person to have control in that situation.
You must have a lot of experiences from working that many jobs!

Very true, I guess this country isn't that far from a monarchy.

I treat my homeroom kids as my own, but they can act like nuisances a lot. Thank you.

Lol, I was afraid to start a topic about our jobs, I didn't want to get too personal. But seeing all of the positive responses, we should totally start more threads like this!
