Closed minded people

Do they bother you? It bothers me whenever I talk about something 'weird' like aliens or 9/11 and they constantly contradict me and try to block my words.

It used to bother me to the point when I'd become really argumentative. In my line of work, I meet a variety of new people everyday and I embrace the different opinions and beliefs that we have. That's the beauty of freedom, I suppose. Then there are persons who are extremely narrow-minded and they try my patience.

Closed-minded people really bother me. I can understand if you don't agree with me or my point of view, but to refuse me the opportunity to offer information that is contradictory to your thought process is ridiculous. I don't understand how someone could not want to learn more about something or even hear possibilities about a subject that they never considered before.

They don't bother me too much at all. It's their opinion and they are entitled to it. The fact that they don't agree with me makes the conversations I have with them more fun. And if I do get bothered I roll my eyes. :)

Narrow mindedness does not really bother me at all. I am so open to others views and opinionas that I find what they have to say, or not say, on a subject interesting. Everyone is entitled to their own opinion and I would never let my differences with another person cause an argument.

I actually think its very interesting to talk to people with a very closed view of the world, and it helps me to gain perspective on the way other people are perceiving the same things I see.

I just feel like everyone has there own way of thinking and I will not let it bother me. I believe in a lot of things my mother does not. But I let her talk anyway.

close minded people are products of the machine. Its because of close minded people we have genocide, religous war, honour killings etc. All people should be open-minded, therein lies compassion and understanding. What this thread should be about is actually, "people who do not believe in paranormal" as opposed to close minded people.

I am sad for those who aren't tolerant. You don't have to agree with something, but you can acknowledge that possibilities are out there, or at least be polite about things that you don't believe.

I do agree with most of you! I do respect others opinions also, but its difficult when they don't do the same. Treat others the way YOU want to be treated

Like, I know this may be stupid, but if I saw a alien and I rushed over for help, and they don't listen because they don't believe in them. Then I was mysteriously killed by one a few days later. Closed minded people can lead to deaths!! Well, in a way.

Just like with the police.
