What is your take on the possibility of life after death? I think there is more to it all than meets the eye...

I do not believe in life after death or heaven or hell for that matter. Everything ends when you are brain dead.

I don't believe in anything after death, just..death. and decay.

I'm pretty much the same. I'm what you call a 'To see is to believe' kind of guy which does not prove anything at all. Although I really want to believe that there is life after death. :)

I for one have doubts on life after death but "to see is to believe" does not appeal to me. :p Although, I too would really want to believe that afterlife exists. :D

I really do want to believe in life after death...I do hope that there is something once we leave our bodies. But I do want to believe.

How about the concept of souls and visions of a single form appearing seen after the death. I hold strong faith in religion that's why my argument may be biased.

Well I think every thing finishes when a person closes eyes forever. There are so many faiths but is there any solid proof for life after death.I do believe in the existence of God but nothing beyond that.

I read an article stating that afterlife really depends on faith. I guess it comes down to religion, like buddhism i think. They believe they will be reincarnated when they die.

I don't think anything happens after you die, hence you are Dead and not coming back. Sanju you say you believe in God but not life after death because there is no evidence, have you got any evidence that God is real?

Well, this is what I'm talking about, it really all depends on what you believe in. There is nothing wrong whether you believe or not, and religion is also a factor on this.

Since I am definite that I have a soul, then there must be life after death. Or I don't know. Even if I'm told that there is nothingness after death, it would be difficult for me to accept that. There must be more out there...I insist on it. :)

After death, we go on in some form or another. I don't need mathematical proof to believe in that. Our time will come and we will die. I do not live as I like because I believe that I will be judged as soon as my last breath is up.

Actually, we have plenty of evidence that would lead us to believe in things we cannot see. Take for instance a radio receiver. Radios pick up invisible radio waves in the air and eletronically interpret them into audio, then they send them out the speakers as sound that we can understand and enjoy. The same is true with video and electricity. Is gravity not an invisible force that we experience the effects of? I don't need to see something to believe in it as long as it can be experienced in one way or another. The human spirit is like a radio receiver. It is a non-physical, surgically unlocatable organ that is for the purpose of receiving God. Faith is simply the ability to substantiate or receive and perceive God. Human beings are not inherently eternal, but God is. In order to be eternal, humans must accept the life of God which is eternal.
