The TRUE AND REAL Truth About 2012 AND YOUR FUTURE!

I was going to simply reply to another post but I think this point deserves more attention than what I believe a reply would develop.

I've been reading about what various people believe is the truth about this date (and the future in general) and I am stricken with overwhelming sadness and frustration for several reasons. I'll get to these points in a moment but first let me say that these posters have sometimes posed as theorists, prophets and even "4th dimensional beings"! I'll try not to turn this into a lecture but come on... How many of you ordinary human beings in the good ol' 3-of-D have tried to explain the relatively simple ongoing local devastation to an ape, a dog... dolphin... much less an ant?

Okay, so here goes....

Point 1: This site (like so many others) serves a great intended purpose, showing the news we don’t see on fox or abc, bbc, etc. and providing additional perspective, while fulfilling a gravely dangerous [hopefully] accidental purpose which is: distracting all of us from our true potential. If from no one else be wary, hear me! All the television, music, pornography, books, idle conversation and all other forms of entertainment that we are all accustomed to serve only as agents of distraction and thus will prove to be conduits to our own individual and personal deconstruction, that is, if not for some sort of balance and moderation in our daily lives. This point becomes exceedingly evident if you consider how far we as a species have come from anything wholly positive, let alone natural.

(In all fairness, this may not apply to all reading but...) Instead of griping online about things you don't like and can not directly control. Why not GET OUT AND HELP SOMEONE....ANYONE AROUND YOU, FOR FREE?! How about educating someone who hasn't looked at a liveleak video about what's REALLY going on in the world. HOW ABOUT PROMOTE SOME REAL LOVE AND FOUNDATION IN YOUR OWN COMMUNITY WHERE YOU ARE RIGHT NOW! Then inspire others to do so...

You're so wrapped up in what horrors may or might await you that you do not contribute even your-small-part to discontinue the momentum towards it. In your fervor to decipher the mysteries of your destination, you fail to experience your own miraculous journey.

I encourage the TRUTHED.com moderators, and indeed all conspiracy theory websites, to add a "Positive local contribution" thread (or something to that effect) to show that some humane change has / is being made.

Point 2: You may have read, you may have heard, you may have seen and have had visions. But I can not stress this enough: YOU HAVE ABSOLUTELY NO IDEA OF WHAT IS GOING TO HAPPEN IN YOUR OWN OR MY FUTURE! This may make some angry so if you lack humility, I suggest you stop right here and go to the next thread... Surely, if one stands tall enough, one can see down the road. It doesn't take a social and economic analyst to see we are in tough times and headed for worse. But if you believe you have divine inspiration and knowledge, I encourage you to thoroughly analyze your: self, source, motives, heart and message before potentially poisoning the minds of people as or more gullible than you. I can't sit here and judge any self-proclaimed psychic or prophet because I know that I do not have the answers. But I find it hard to imagine anything more self-indulgent, and inevitably destructive, than for any person to postulate they >KNOW< without doubt that they know which way we all should go. People who do so hurt my heart especially because I see, very clearly, just how they hurt those who would follow them. By drawing humanity from a path that would allow us to develop positively consistently, they condemn followers to a life (and death) of the most pointless fashion.

So, what's the real truth about 2012? STOP WORRYING ABOUT 2012! THERE! It's that simple. Go plant a tree, recycle, make YOUR contribution. Obviously, if there were something going to happen, there are enough official agencies around the world that would've already found out more than you can ever hope to. And given evident trends...they're not going to share that information with any of us. Love YOURSELF (I mean truly learn what that means), then you can share that love with people you encounter. And right before your life is over, you can rest assured that you did the most you could to evolve yourself now. THEN you can enter the afterlife(whatever that may be, if there is existence thereafter) with enough wisdom to know you don't know it all...Just so MAYBE you can learn some more.

I am literally crying out to you online! We are in dire times and as beings who have the capacity to recognize the stakes at hand, we have a LOOOOOONG way to go in order to catch up to where we need to be. Seriously, learn to appreciate yourself. Start with YOU first. Improve YOU first. Then maybe go and help the world. We all will go, but what it boils down to is: what do you want on your heart/mind in your final moments?

The other problem is many myths and stories have changed to fit the 2012 mythology. Take the planet Nibiru: According to author Zecharia Sitchin (who first mentions Nibiru) the planet Nibiru was to arrive at Earth around 2600AD. Many have changed that theory to pin its arrival around 2012. The problem is, a planet that is larger than Earth would be seen already by amateur astronomers.
Also, many Native American legends have been changed to add the 2012 end date. Christian mythology always has a date in mind for the End Times, and instead of 2000 (2005, etc...), the date has been moved to 2012.
Even a book by Nostradamus mysteriously showed up that had predictions for 2012. Apparently, Mr Nostradamus had missed the date in his original writings. The book has been proved to of not been authored by Mr Nostradamus, but that does not stop people from saying he predicted what is going to happen then.

I totally agree that people should not worry about that date and try to enjoy life. It is way to short, and some of us may not have the health to see that date. Spend time with your children, pet your cats, take a trip, etc. Enjoy life now and live for the moment.

Also, great post liquid. People need to realize that living in fear prevents them from having a healthy and happy life. It's also best to take life as a surprise, than wasting time figuring out the future.

I have two major predictions for 2012: There is going to be a major sporting event witnessed by billions around the world taking place in London, and there will be presidential elections in the United States.

The danger of 2012 lies not in any proof, truth, or prediction of disaster, but the belief that people have with it. I'm far more worried about widespread panic over every little thing that occurs in the month of December, leading to riots and general panicked and bad human behavior, rather than any true apocalypse.

I do worry about people panicking, but that does depend on the size of the fringe movement. They have found that the internet is not as popular for movements as they thought. The movie "Snakes on a Plane" was supposed to open big because of all the hype on the internet, but ended up with only $30 million domestically in the end.

I think this stuff will die down as people start realizing there are too many sites out there making a buck on the DVDs and books on the subject.

u all r completely clueless of the distruction and devastation coming forth in 2012. you refuse to heed the warnings, you act non-chalantly, you try to come up with explinations of why nothing will happen. I have seen the future, i know what you search for on-line. mark my words, you will be terrified, you will try to fleed, you will repent to who you believe is your higher power. you will die, you will see death all around you, there will be nothing you can do about it. not any bomb shelter, alien, god, profit, or money will save you. you cannot possibly prepare yourself for what is to come. mark my words life not just humanity will be gone. Ahh...i'm just kidding. hey.. i love you guys, man. some good points liquid, but whatever. if i didn't want to talk about strange shit, aliens, nwo, u.f.o.'s, u.s.o's, i wouldn't come here. i do alot of great things for my community. shit my birthday is earthday (april 22, 1981), i 've been planting trees since i've been eight years old. hell, between the ages of 18 and 25, i was smoking alot of trees. lol. i've pulled people out of wrecked cars, and busses. i've saved 3 poeple in my life from drowning, one at the beach (undertow) and 2 in the swimming pool. 4yr old girl and a man who knocked him self out diving in a pool, both times i recessitated them. i worked at resteraunts and have had to use the hiemellic manuver several times for guest and children. I do good things all the time. So, my question to you is... why did you come to this site if it hurts your feelings or you are not interested in the things here? why waste your time? you should find a place that catches your interest. Preachyourbeliefs.com or treesoflife.org or something.

This reminds me of the Y2K feasco. Nothing happened then. Maybe things will happen but it won't be the end. I'll belive it's the end when I see a phone box appear out of thin air and and a man calling himself the Doctor is darting around with a sonic screwdriver.
To be honest the world is changing, the plates are shifting and the polar caps are melting, it's global warming but we won't see the end of it in our life time. It takes hundreds to thousands of years. If the end is coming it's at the hands of man, not God.
