The Soul

Is soul for real? Do we really have souls? What does it look like? What does it feel like? Is it an afterlife experience?

There are lots of questions you could ask, but the answer still lies within. What do you think of a soul?

Rather, I'd like to describe myself as a soul.

This body will deteriorate in time but my soul will linger on forever.

We always talk about souls read about them in literature and books otherwise also.What soul exactly means is your mind, thoughts, ideas, concepts,I think that is why even after this life our ideas and thoughts live in minds of other people and we are known not by ourselves but by our ideas- our thoughts-our souls.

Believing in souls means that we believe that there is an existence separate of our bodies. And therefore, we are immortal and can move from one form to the other. I couldn't have said it more plainly than abyss. We are souls; it's incidental that we have bodies.

A soul doesn't have physical limitations. It's a consciousness that defines our existence. I think that karma is intertwined with our souls. So is reincarnation in that the soul progresses from one life to the other.

The evidence that we have a soul is that people who've had near death experiences remember going into a light or being surrounded by loved ones who've passed away. The fact that they remember this is astounding. Aren't they supposed to be brain-dead by then? Profound memory loss is expected before and after the incident..and yet, they were lucid during these minutes and they can describe what was going on in that very room where hospital personnel were working to save him.

I believe that we all have a soul and it is the soul that makes us good and decent people. My sister always says that people who murder others don't have a soul and was someplace else when the souls were given out.

everyone has a soul, even murderers, i think the difference is what happens to that soul in the afterlife!

The soul is energy, its a part of the universe in itself and everything is connected. Remember energy NEVER dies, it just changes form...

Yet still the greatest mystery.
