Christian faith shuns the belief of reincarnation. After death comes judgment after all. But what does the devil have to gain if a person believes in reincarnation? Surely, the person yearns to do more good as this will determine his destiny.

Well the devil would at least gain one more person who does not believe in Jesus, which im sure overall would make him happy.

I think that the devil probably hates happiness and so what makes him angry is probably his contentment.Maybe his gains are his losses too.

I think reincarnation doesn't go with the Christian faith because when you die you go to heaven...if you are reincarnated, you don't go to heaven and you stay on earth.

The devil gains nothing most likely. A person reincarnated will think he's been given a second chance and will have found religion. Other religions do believe in reincarnation like Hinduism and they don't believe in the devil at all.

I agree, it is the devil's gain. Living one's life in line with reincarnation beliefs mean that you've switched sides and that you are now worshiping an object or a being who is not Christ. You may now have put your trust in if not an inanimate object (as some religions teach) then in your self-righteousness.

Believing in reincarnation destroys the concept of an afterlife -- that of heaven or hell. Reincarnation is a lie which I think the devil would like to perpetuate. Besides, it simply doesn't make any sense. How am I expected to improve my life if I don't remember it?

Two concepts of reincarnation I don't believe in -- one, that I was or that I will be an animal or insect at some point. Two -- that I am what I eat. They do place emphasis on what you take in your body for nourishment. Besides, I don't think that being spiritual and shunning all material things is the way to nirvana.

What do you think about deja vu? Many say that this feeling of having been in an eerily familiar place is a glimpse of previous lives. This may indicate that reincarnation does occur but I need more proof.

Something to think about is that the idea of reincarnation implies that a person continues to be reborn over and over again after they die. In some religions this is supposed to be a lesson in human growth and in others there is punishment involved. Basically if you lived a proper life by "someone's" standard you have a better chance to achieve your "nirvana" or enlightenment, or whatever you want to call it in your next life. But what about those who don't live good lives according to the standard? According to some ideas they are born into lower castes which make it so that there is no chance of reaching their destiny in their lifetime. Indeed some are reborn as lesser beings like animals or even plants according to some. My question is, Once the human race has depleted this planet of its resources, thus rendering it unsustainable for life, what happens then? What happens when the earth can no longer support the lives of the women who give birth to these reincarnated people? Do the ones who haven't achieved their "enlightenment" or "nirvana" exist in a state of limbo or something? A constant state of death? The deeper we look into things, the more we see that every way of thinking has its heaven and its hell in one way or another, so to speak. It seems more and more that without a personal, sovereign God, there is no logic and reason behind humanity.
