Neanderthals had three different populations of peoples before they died out, according to some researchers:
http://blogs.usatoday.com/sciencefai...pulations.html The findings that their were different races of the Neanderthal is quite interesting. There are many questions on how old modern man really is, and the discoveries being made suggest culture is quite old. There is also a claim made that humans and Neanderthals split from a common ancestor over 300,000 years ago. The date keeps getting older and older. |

If the date keeps getting older and older, does this mean were closer to finding the missing link?

The theory was wonderful when modern man was believed to be only 20,000 years old. The theory was put in jeopardy when a modern human skeleton that was over 100,000 years was found. The mystery of where modern humans actually come from is quite deep. |
