Are You Afraid of the Dark?
A question to all who fears Spirits/ghosts/apparitions.
I sometimes ask myself this question way back when I was in high school, and to think, I still had moments where my knees trembled. I know, some people out there still are. |

Frankly, I am more afraid of being mugged when I walk through a dark place. If I don't see it, it doesn't exist therefore, I will not be afraid of it. It's conditioning. If I allow fear of the dark to affect my life, I'd be missing out on a lot. There's no way I'd allow something irrational waste my time or effort.

Irrational it may be but the fear of the dark forces engulf me during those instances when I suspect that they're near me. It gets to a point when the fear immobilizes me. To remove the fear, I start praying and I try to imagine that a light has come to protect me. It works.

I love working at night as long as it is not pitch black. I do not seem to have a fear of the dark like I did as a child. It can sometimes be a bit unnerving but that is about it.

I think its almost a fear of the unknown, in the dark you can't see so the unknown is all around you...

I dont like being in our games room when it is dark. It is just not a nice place to be.

I am not a big fan of the dark, not because of apparitions, but because of my fear of bugs!

I generally don't fear the dark because I don't believe in the ghosts and spirits and stuff, but I have to admit, after watching a scary movie I'll sometimes have to turn the lights on.
