Re-Visiting "TimeSlips"!!!

Einstein stated that time was not a continuing forward flow as we see it to be, but time is more elastic and can move both ways.

There are many accounts of people who claim they have experienced Time Slips. Seemingly normal people who suddenly become aware that their surroundings have changed and have become that of a different stage in history.

I cant say I have ever experienced a "Time Slip" or know somebody who has, I would just like others to share their views on the topic, or share any stories they have read somewhere of people experiencing this odd phenomena.

There is a famous case about the two ladies who ended up in 18th Century France. Colin Wilson wrote about it in one of his books a while back.

Time may flow like a river, but there are ways to move upstream on rivers. That could mean there are ways to travel back in time.

i think i've encountered a time slip a couple times, but it may just be flashbacks from all the L.S.D. i did back in the day. :} Now that i think of it, i have alot of deja-vu also. empirez, the ladies were in Paris and went back in time to the Court of 17th Century France. They did come back to report what they had seen. At first they thought it was a costumed presentation.

There are several cases like the above where the people assume they are at a costumed presentation to then notice they are the only ones there in modern dress. It could be dismissed, but the fact is most of the cases are witnessed by more than one person. Do they really go back in time or are they just witnessing a "moment in time"?

Kidflash, if they cannot interact with those persons that they see , one might argue that they are witnessing a moment in time.

I think some of the people who experienced this phenomena did have interactions with the others. It has been a long time since I read about the cases and they are featured in one of Colin Wilson's Mammoth books. Since none of us were there or no recordings were made, it is hard to know if they literally traveled in time or just witnessed a time slip.
