Michael Jackson's Death Ruled 'Homicide'

Michael Jackson's death has reportedly been ruled a homicide by the LA County coroner as it emerged that lethal levels of the anaesthetic propofol were found in his body.

If true, it makes it more likely criminal charges will be filed against Jackson's personal doctor who was with the star when he died.

The official says the coroner determined a fatal combination of drugs was given to Jackson hours before he died in his rented Los Angeles mansion on June 25.

The official spoke to the Associated Press on condition of anonymity because the findings have not been publicly released.
But Captain John Kades, of the coroner's department, has said he is not in a position to confirm or deny the report.

He added: "We have not released any information on the Jackson case. We do not know where this information is coming from."

The Jackson family has released a statement saying it has "full confidence in the legal process" and commended the ongoing efforts of the coroner's office, the LA District Attorney and the LA police department.

"The family looks forward to the day that justice can be served," the statement said.

According to the Los Angeles Times, LA County coroner's officials found a lethal dose of propofol after examining Jackson's body.

The poor guy was pressed beyond every limits, he could not sleep, and started to medicate, and the rest is history :/

It seems the press has already convicted the doctor for the crime, much like they did to MJ with the molestation trial. Will the press ever learn that a person is innocent until found guilty in a court of law?

I also think the family wants someone to sue. The estate of MJ is over $350 million in debt, and they do not want to sell the Beatles catalog. (The concert that was planned was supposed to help pay off some of the debt.)

I wonder what Jackson did with all those millions of dollars , how could he just let them fritter away ?

At one point he spent over $30 million a month buying art and other objects. He was known to spend much more than he took in. It did not help much that he did not do very many tours and his last few albums did not take in that much money. The 50 concert tour and subsequent Las Vegas show would have paid off his entire debt. Las Vegas especially is a very lucrative deal for many artists. Wayne Newton is a multimillionaire many times over because of his Vegas act.

The program by Martin Bashir showed Michael Jackson on one of his shopping sprees. That was back in 2004, so he was still at it.
