A member of the group La Raza argues with and attacks one of the attendees of Gene Green's Townhall meeting on Tuesday, August 18. He became violent and Houston Police took him to jail. The LaRaza members continued to confront us over the course of the night... we remained calm and stayed away but they kept it up! The night ended with a Mariachi band... we couldn't believe it!! This is what's going on in Texas, folks... and it could happen to America!! They admit they're "taking over America" and that they want to "kick us out".... Is this really what you want?

Didn't Texas once belong to Mexico? And Spain before that?

The Spanish speaking peoples have a much longer history in the area.

However, I do not condone violence of any kind.

BTW, France owned parts of Texas in their Louisiana Territory.

I really don't give a sh*t who USED to own parts of this country. NO offense KidFlash This is AMERICA, you mexicans want your rights and culture then stay in your own country. I have no problem with Mexican people whatsoever and some people in mexico desperately need to come to America to escape the violence. The mexican's in this particular video however, all need to be shot. Joining border patrol tomorrow. Those of you who aren't from America would not understand, I know other countries are having and have been having immigration problems for years, but it's getting quite out of hand here as you can tell. Something will be done about it. Trust me. They will probably close all borders anyway, and when that happens, all hell will break loose.

I am just stating that Mexican Americans were there much longer than the white people have.

When the Mayflower arrived, the Spanish had already been on this continent for over one hundred years.

The original peoples had been here for tens of thousands of years. I don't here anyone speaking Cherokee in that video.

It is the United States now, and yes they are part of our country. But being American means embracing parts of other cultures. That is why we are called the melting pot.

I really do not think they want to be a part of the nation of Mexico now. They do like to celebrate their heritage, which is a mixture of Spanish and Native influences. There is nothing wrong with that.

Anyone and everyone is MORE than welcome to come to the U.S. but if your going to be waving your flag around talking about kicking American's out of America then you don't need to be here. They don't want to be American, they want America to be Mexico. Yes KidFlash you are absolutely correct. I think that's why they used to call themselves Texicans.
