US Supreme Court to hear life sentences on juveniles

The US Supreme Court is going to hear a case in which a juvenile was sentenced to life in prison with no chance of parole for a crime other than murder:

I did not know they passed those tough sentences on underage persons for crimes that did not involve killing someone. That is a well kept secret from the states, mainly Florida which has over 70 such inmates.
