i watched a documentary on tv a few years ago about searching for Atlantis and they think that it may have been in south or central america, a couple of thousands of years before columbus rediscovered them. I don't think people should just assume and claim this to be Atlantis it just reminded me of the show. Alexandria is now a mostly sunken city so it does prove cities can be reclaimed by the sea.

For some reason, discovering hidden cities is one of my favorite "legends"

I think its cool too, it doesn't seem like there's too much too explore now a days, so its neat when they find a new discovery, especially when you can learn about the culture of a lost civilization.

You never really KNOW anything.... the universe is far to complex, and our history has been manipulated by those of power and religion for far to long for us to really KNOW what secrets the Earths history holds. This is where the power of imagination can be a marvelous thing!
"1500 years ago, everybody knew that the earth was the center of the universe. 500 years ago, everybody knew that the earth was flat. And 15 minutes ago, you knew that humans were alone on this planet. Imagine what you'll know tomorrow". - "Kay" (Tommy Lee Jones) in Men in Black.

I'd have to agree - looks like CG to me as well. Plus the end of the article... we've setup a toll free number where we take donations. Scam?
