Default Surprising Sea Slug Is Half-plant, Half-animal

It's the first critter discovered to produce the plant pigment chlorophyll.

That's kinda cool. I'm surprised that more animals have incorporated this strategy in their own survival.

It opens up the mind to the implications of how advanced life might exist elsewhere.

If they have not known about this specie before, then why is this not all over the news? And if they did know about about it for a while, why have I not heard of it? This is a major thing, an animal that is half plant...In science, this is bigger than almost anything in recent history...So why are they not talking about it?....

According to the link below, "sea slug, Elysia chlorotica...is known to steal genes and photosynthesizing organelles called chloroplasts from its favorite intertidal algae species, Vaucheria litorea, but it now seems it has developed an entire chemical pathway to manufacture the green pigment "chlorophyll a" itself". So apparently this slug has genetically mutated over time. Maybe the reason they are keeping it under the radar is because, being a prime example of evolution, it would rock the creationists world.

I hope thats not the case...I want to know damnit!!!

But I don't think it would be that much of a blow for God fearing people. I for one believe in God, and I also believe in the big bang, I also believe in evolution. Im not just believing in them all to be safe, I believe they are all the same thing...Before I start making peoples heads explode I will say that I will be releasing a series of videos on YouTube where I explain my theories and ideas.
