I heard the speech on Thursday night. I loved what I heard. I don't exactly believe what I heard, but I liked it anyway.
What is the conspiracy part of this? Well seems like Obama may have been born in Kenya and if that is true then he can't be president of this country if we are still following rule of law here. |

IF he wasn't born in the USA, then we would have definitely heard about it. It would have been the best way to stop his influence on the political process, since they don't dare say anything about his race!

If he were born outside of the US I'm sure we would have heard about it already. That would be big news.
In his speech Obama didn't say anything different from what he always says. He's a good speaker but doesn't say anything of consequence. |

I got an e-mail about this as well. It was something about how his mother was a citizen but his father wasn't. And his mother may not have had enough years of citizenship after her 16th birthday for him to be President.
But if it were going to come up, I think Clinton would have said something at the DNC to secure the nomination before McCain drops the bombshell. |

I see this is extreme wishful thinking. Just wait, something else will come up.
I am waiting for the KKK to muster its "best and brightest" to fashion other objections that seem all too altruistic on their surface! |

Seeing as how I live in the South (Texas), I've been surprised by the lack of racially motivated comments I've heard during the election so far. But you're right, Diana, it's only a matter of time now...

I think the questions about Obama not being natural born stem from his parents status. McCain wasn't born in the borders of the USA and he is considered natural born. They don't have anywhere to go with any of this.

Obama is a natural citizen, but I do enjoy the failed attempts of people trying to dig up dirt on him. There has to be SOMETHING!
