McCain's Choice

So McCain has showed how desperate he is to win by choosing the governor of Alaska as his running mate.

The "girl" looks like she would be nothing more than a Republican puppet and is nothing more than window dressing.

Do you think people will fall for this?

I think that, yes, sadly people will 100% fall for this. His choice of Palin is nothing more than a ploy to bring in all of the Hillary supporters that refuse to endorse Obama for one reason or another. This was a very calcuated move on his part, and really deceitful the way I look at it. McCain is such a fake, it is just sickening to watch him play this game.

What? I think it's great that he is taking a woman with him as VP. I think that he choose wisely.
Obama wasn't smart enough to take Hillary- his loss.

It was a brilliant choice that McCain made and it does not at all look like a sign of desperation.

Palin is a 44 year old "woman," near the same age as Obama I would think. She showed off her kids the same way Michelle showed off her kids at the DNC.

McCain is going after the women voters who were unhappy when Clinton didn't get the nomination. And Palin has a 90% approval rating as governor of Alaska.

She might not have much experience but the same could, and is, said of Obama.

And as for being a puppet, Palin won't be anymore of a puppet to McCain as Obama is to Biden.

I might not agree with McCain and Palin's plans on running the country but I will give McCain lots of credit for choosing a woman.

I agree that children and other family members shouldn't be chewed on by the political machine, but this woman is a member of the party that prides itself in its holier than thou attitude. I think her positions on abortion, sex ed, abstinence, and the like should be questioned closely!

I really think people need to look beyond the fact that she is a woman and get to the root of what she is all about. I think its great that he picked a woman and has broken down some of the barriers that have been in place before for women, but at the end of the day, she just is not a solid candidate.

I was shocked that he went all the way to Alaska to find a running mate. It was a total shock. We will see how it plays out for him in the end.

I am excited about her and voting for her because she isn't a Washington insider and has plenty of experience, moreso than Obama has. She is a great choice not because she is a woman, but because she is very qualified.
