It could have been so much worse. I'm very thankful that so many acted with prudence and evacuated the area. That saved lives. Of course, the rains are still coming, but this really could have been devastating.

I'm in the path of Hanna but it shouldn't be to bad, just alot of wind and rain. I'm actually keeping an eye on Ike as that storm seems to be pretty bad.

Well thank you. I live in Florida and we have seen hurricanes like IKE change their path quite often. He is a CAT 4 too. Thats not good. The year we had 4 in a row every weekend took our roof off! If IKE heads our way it depends on what CAT he is and where he is gonna hit. We always keep an eye out. We have our generator and water and batteries and candles.
