I agree, I think way to much energy is wasted on celebrities. I like them for their entertainment value whether it is music, movies, or sports. As far as their personal life I could care less what they do.

Lol. All joking aside. It gives people something to talk about and to relate to. Celebrities love the sunlight, but too long in the sun will give you a sunburn. I guess people need someone to look up to. Just like a sheep. But it can be too evil, people get really interested when you fall on your ass like Britney Spears. Or Miley Cyrus. Remember the constant magazines of the Britney scandle(s)? Those will sell.
