Do you think our votes really count or do you think that the election has already been set?

I think your vote still counts for something, but for the normal person it really does not matter as they will do nothing to help us.

I think the better question is, does it really matter who wins?

Truthed you probably are exactly right. It really does not matter who wins as we will never be a winner lol!

I have watched a few programs on this subject and did some research. I do believe our election system has a long way to go in an effort to impress me. I still however will comtinue to vote in hopes that one day it will count. We have to start from scratch with our voting system and get it right.

If you don't vote, I guarentee it won't count. If you don't want either of the two main candidates, at least vote for Ralph Nader so your vote will hopefully send a message to both major parties.

Wow. Nice thread djs! Totally not what I thought... thanks for a new view of the voting system.
Hmm.. It could be possible. The world is full of scams. I'd be laughing at the effort the parties... if I was behind it. >_> |

Our votes do count and the election isn't fixed. I believe in conspiracy's but that one is a little far fetched!

The lesser of two evils is still evil.

If our votes really mattered we wouldn't have the electorate college any more. We should just have one primary for the republicans and one for the democrats to decide which candidate from each party will run for office.
