I cant say anything overly paranormal has ever happened to me, i mean, i realise my interest in the subject may make my thinking a little wishful! So i keep a slightly skeptic, yet open mind, much like Decklan Dunn from "MYSTERIOUS WAYS".
About a month ago i was driving to my girlfriends house along one of the back roads, now the area she lives in is on the outskirts of the city towards the bottom of the hills, only a 10minute drive from me, alot of this area is farm property and bush still to be developed into housing (which im sure it will ) Now it was dark and my high beams were on.. i was doing probably 90km per hour down Foxton Road, when suddenly in front of my car about a meter above the road and probably 2-3 meters in span was a thick 'Mist' i guess, probably just fog i figured as it was a cold night, except for a few things.1. It was only located to that small area. 2. As i drove through it My car seemed to take some kind of impact making my steering wheel pull and my car THUD, as if i drove through a thick cardboard wall. 3. after my steering wheel pulled i slowed RAPIDLY almost screeching my tyres and looked in my rear mirror and reversed slightly, there was no more mist/fog and i took note there was also no breeze or wind. it was strange indeed ![]() any thoughts ayone? |

hmm i don't know that much about fog, and weather effects and such, I wonder if anyone has a reasonable explanation for this?

Hmmm, it sure sounds like a scene that I saw in the movie The Fog. Are you sure you are not being a bit imaginative or maybe you are just too tired?

Yes, tired eyes could be an isssue. Still does not explain the thud and the pull on the steering. Very odd.

tired eyes? at like 7:30pm? i know what i saw
i slowed down and reversed back up because even i thought "Geez WTF was that!?" thinking maybe a Kangaroo had hit the side of my car! (headlights tend to startle them and they can sometimes run towards you instead of away) but alas, no Roo and no mist.By the way Ive never seen a movie called the fog. |

I wish that to.It's very likely that some other intelligent species exist in our Universe.Imagine a world with almost the same conditions as ours and a Alien race that simply evolved in a different way then us.That's a big possibility.

interesting theory? You mean a being that has no physical form? something of a being of energy? I think its more likely it was some bizarre atmospheric phenomenon. id like it to happen agen tho. but im sure it never will.

Well you just never know about things like that. This is the first I have heard about anything that is remotely alike.
