I bet you all have heard of the girl who lip syn in the Olympic opening in China. What do you think of it? Is it appropriate to do so? Can you accept such an event?

I think they did that because they didn't want to be stereotyped for bad teeth or anything. Typical america for ya.
But I feel for that little girl. She was so cute. She would of been great on stage! |

If I had been that little girls mom I would have refused to let them use her voice . Either she sings it for real or you don`t use her voice at all. Thats just plain meaness. And so cruel to do to a little girl.

Let's face it, every country does something similar to this all the time. If someone isn't beautiful they are never put in the public's eye no matter how talented they are. |

I think it was a mean thing to do, too. Unfortunately, it does happen often enough. Looks matter, and better looking people get on the spotlight.

It did not surprise me as more people do it than ever before. I really do not have a problem with it at all.
