After reading John Pinkneys books, its fair to say there is a few chapters in it i read again and again... My Favorite Being the "Phantom Highways".
Witness accounts spread from all over Outback Australia, of people driving and finding themselves and taking shortcuts or wrong turns onto these roads, roads where there is no sound, not even from the car tyres on the road, the trees and shrubs dont cast a shadow, a strange thinning of the air, People can drive for hours using fuel but seem to end up nowhere and then BANG! back onto the main road and into a nearby town...a young lady asks a man when the new highway was completed and he sais there is no highway, upon return there is only bush as far as she can see... Wow, that's interesting... Are these real accounts or fictional stories? Even if it is only fiction, I think it would be a great read.
