Similar to my thread on the "Bloop" the 'HUM' is a Ultra Low frequency noise heard at different geographical locations around the world, although only 2% of the population can hear it, mainly men, it is said to sound like that of a distant Idling engine, only it lasts forever. People who hear the Hum have reported it to be a sickening noise! Capable of making u nausious and go days without sleep...
Audio devices have detected the HUM but to this day the origin of the Hum or why only few can hear it remaisn a mystery. Famous case reported near TAOS NEW MEXICO, (Taos Hum) also known as the "Bristol Hum". Referenced to in the X-Files episode "DRIVE" in season 3!

I checked it out, I wonder what causes it, I assume it is something natural that can be explained, but who knows!
