Hi
One of my most exciting experiences while on vacation..was when Gary and I went to Florida.... He always wanted to visit Kennedy Space Centre..I wasn't that fussed to begin with... I went along to shut him up lol....and low and behold..there just so happened to be a launch that day...it was called off a few days previous due to the weather... 30 mins after we had got off the tour bus...we saw a big crowd of people all gathering..within mins..I heard this count down...I switched on my camera and got ready...and then there it was...the Delta 2 rocket being launched, heading for Mars!! ![]() All of a sudden I was taken back by the whole thing...I couldn't believe I was right there watching this at Kennedy Space Centre... ![]() We were far away from it but WOW... I must scan the pics I took from that day..and post em..it's the only real evidence I got lol It touched down on the red planet in Jan 2004...I saw it on the news and I was able to jump up and say YES I WAS THERE NER NER!!! ![]() Have any of you ever seen anything like that before or similar?
