There are more active serial killers in he world today than you could know.
I have noticed in the new lately a massive surge in animal cruelty acts. One such act in the East states of Australia against a stolen puppy, disturbed a police officer to he point of nausea and vomiting. Random Acts of violence. Home invasions. Terrorists. People killing themselves and their families because of a market crash. Horrible acts of violence against children. The world is in a heightened state or paranoia. Its eating itself alive. I believe our destiny has us selected for extinction. What is in us that makes our nature so primitive and violent. Even in this modern world? Do you believe the human race can survive? I don't.

The amount of serial killers are the same. They just catch them more often.
The world has always been a violent place. The 1920s is probably the most violent in the US because of Prohibition. |

Perhaps its the movies and other media that began the uprising of violence?

Watch the History Channel presentations on the era and you'll see the appeal for the rise in crime and the appeal to violence.

no, not at all. look at the antique world 2000 years ago. they fought huge wars, killed themeselves (religion played a big role of course, like today) and there were no electric medias at all. Violence is just a big part of the human instinct. We canīt conclude violence to anything we build up. And if you take a look at the oldest of all emotions: Fear. Fear doesnīt come from nothing. it evovles through certain situations in which many includes violence. We just have to live with the fact, that the human race insīt that peacefull at all. |

The thing I don't understand is how we haven't figured out after all this time that we shouldn't encounter anything with hostility. North and South America started like this:
Step 1- Boldly claim that we are going to get a new trade route to India Step 2 - Land at what is now Brazil, the northern tip of what is now the United States, or what is now Canada. Step 3- Kill and/or enslave all the native peoples. Step 4- Evangelize. Step 5 - End slavery long after the culture dies off, thus eliminating much of the history of an entire group of people with little or no information to be had on them. Step 6 (Specific to the United States) - Spy on one particular group and do anything in the government's power to prevent this group from prospering. |
