Default Choice of VP

Obama and McCain will name their VP partners soon.

Who do you think they are and does it really matter at all?

I would say it doesn't matter much because the post of president is considered the most important one. The VP generally plays a subordinate role and do not take active part in the decision making process...

I totally agree with you; the VP of the United States is probably the most insignificant job in the world. Tell this to Dick Cheney

Ha ha, I would agree. The VP will be more of a ceremonial role instead of a true driver of any policy. I think for the upcoming elections, the VP choice will be more for a PR purpose than for any substantive strategic usage.

On a side note, if this doesn't prove that E.T.'s are active in government...Paris Hilton has thrown her hat into the ring for president.

Well Obama has picked his VP. I wanted Hillary for president or at least VP. Now she is trying to get everyone to vote for Obama. Thats what I read in the newspaper last night.

The VP has been picked and I really do not think it matters. Once again it seems that the presidency has come down to the 'lesser of two evils', which, in the end, is still evil.

Yes, I did see that McCain has made his choice and had heard that Sarah was on his list but as there hadn't been any buzz lately, I thought she was out. I must say its caused much more of a stir in the media than I thought it would.
