Truthed needs to earn a living.....
I'm sure you need to earn a living Truthed.....
To buy that Maseratti that you have always been hankering for? That Granite worktop for the kitchen? (to keep Mrs. Truthed chuffed). But please stop selling out to piss poor sponsors.... Warcraft I can tolerate......However, Freelotto Giftcards Freepay Gaming Freepay I can't........ am I the only one? Please stop! Be choosy!

I agree some of the sponsors might not all be great but you have to understand how it works...
Most websites don`t individually select their advertisers, we go through a adserving company who give us a code and they put in the ads they get to fill the inventory. I am on a the scifi channel but they dont always have campaigns to fill the niche, but they tell me that soon they are getting some great deal from movie companies to advertise some great scifi movies so hopefully they get a bit better. atleast they dont make noise! We feel like the advertising is pretty low, one ad basically on the entire site and 2 google text ads. No annoying popups, or ads with sound ect. Thanks for your post though, and I will always strive to make the site as most enjoyable for everyone as possible. |

It costs money to run a site, and the ads can help pay for it. I am also glad the site does not have pop-ups, which can be annoying.

I must apologise, maybe my words were a little harsh in my original posting, so for that I am sorry.
I do not disagree that it costs money to host a site, and I do enjoy Truthed.com. When I used to host my BHD Sniping clan I relied on members contributions for the hosting server and the upkeep of the clan site, so am aware of the overheads involved. My concerns (which could have been raised more tactfully) were with regard to the nature of the sponsors, which Truthed has advised us should should be changing. I would hate however to see the site become mired with 'smiley download banners' and other equally chavesque ads. I'm sure after Truthed has posted his reply to my post, that the site will unfold as it should. Ta Tec
