Drink coffee, see dead people

I used to drink a lot of Mountain Dew (I hate coffee), and never had any hallucinations. I worked grave yard shifts (how appropriate!), and needed the kick to keep me awake.

Does this mean I can be like the ghost whisperer if I drank more coffee a day... or just be more paranoid than I already am :-?
