While I do support the freedom of speech and even the most vile of hate speech, I would hope people would do better for their children.
If they did take away the children because they are taught to hate, I think the government has overstepped its authority. While I disagree strongly about teaching children hate, it is the right of parents to bring up their children as they see fit, as long as the children are not neglected or abused. Having children taken away because parents use hateful words would spark most children being taken away from homes. This will start a slippery slope, and the will start a PC police.

I do know of many black people whose parents hated white people, and stated that frequently, but you don't see them being taken away from their homes. This is also a double standard.

Aye, but blacks have a different situation than Nazi's. Sometimes double standards are necessary due to the ignorant behavior that is or could be spawned.

Double standards should never be tolerated. It is the reason why racism is so pervasive in society.
I just don't like the government getting its weasel hands on the situation.

While it is outrageous that these rednecks have named their children Adolf etc.... The authorities have NO right whatsoever to take these children into care. The children are well, and loved, the fact that their parents are bigots is another matter. There is no evidence that the children were mistreated. Some might argue that naming them Nazi names is a form of abuse, to an extent I agree, but this should have been tackled at the time of their birth registration.

Is it any different to the child of a famous person being named 'Starchild' or 'Zoom' or whatever?

The children will now be painfully unhappy having been taken away from their parents.

That is my reasoning exactly. If they go after these people (although they are idiots, they do not mistreat their children), then they will go after other parents for the most idiotic reasons.
