Israel blocks Irans relief ship to Gaza

“We are conferring with the International Committee of Red Cross (ICRC) to find a way for the ship to dock at the port of Gaza,” Moussavi said, adding that in the case of not achieving the desired results “the cargo ship will be sent to Cairo”.

The Iranian ship departed the port city of Bandar Abbass for Gaza on December 31, 2009.

This is a shame. I shouldn't expect much from Israel, as they did attack the USS Liberty in 1967 and tried to make sure there were no survivors. Israel is not so innocent, but the United States will never criticize the country for fear of losing the Jewish vote in Florida.

Red Cross is aghast about the condition the victims are in as well as the fact that they are not allowed in; and the UN has been notified that Israel is doing the following: killing prisoners and placing their bodies in bombed out buildings to make it look like they were killed in combat, targeting buildings that are known to hold children and using phosphorous grenades in those same areas.
