Umm... This is not going to help the Israeli government. If they are going to be as blind as Americans were in 2001, then Israel is in for some deep trouble in the future. Ironically, the worst repercussions may come from it's allies from the West. I'll take the risk and bet Obama will break the mold and stand up against the Israeli lobby in our government and thus the Israeli government itself. If Obama breaks, others will too. It is vitally important that our politicians get their heads out of Israel's ass and take a look around the globe and see what has happened because we let them do whatever.

The politicians are too afraid to stop sucking up to Israel. They want the political base to support them in the Presidential elections, so they will never stop blindly defending Israel.
I would hope Barack Hussain Obama would give some in the Middle East hope, but it is not likely he will step on toes any time soon. Hopefully, the issue of poverty and the creation of an independent Palestine state will resolve some of the conflict, but something tells me Israel and the others want war and violence to continue. |

I was watching the Daily Show, where guest, Fareed Zacharia (I think that is his name, I forget now), has shed some light on that very subject. He says that polls consistently show that both sides would like two states.

I saw that interview also. I wonder if it is the politicians on both sides who do not want two states. Two states makes the most sense, so you know politicians have to be against it.
