Not bad for a first week at work. I usually have to attend induction meetings etc....

When was the last attack before Obama took office?

Is this an isolated attack or is it a continuation of a salvo or strategic operation?

They briefed Pres Obama on the operations. It seems they did that as a courtesy, as the CIA usually just does the bombings without any upper approval. I also hope this strategy changes, as more civilians seem to get killed or maimed than terrorists.

That is what happens when a candidate becomes President. Jimmy Carter promised he would never lie to the American people, and his mother was upset he made a promise like that. He broke it soon after becoming president.

I do hope there is more transparency in this Administration. It could be the Press Secretary does not know the full details, or the Obama Administration has yet to decide on what policies to take in such situations. The Presidency is still young, and they do not want to make mistakes by letting their mouths right checks their asses can't cash.
