Default Keep your home, FIGHT BACK!

I thought this video was amazing. Almost HALF of the time, the banks have gotten so sloppy that they can not even prove that they own your home:

And here is another story about a US Rep from Ohio telling people who have been foreclosed on to SQAUT in their homes...

The small guy finally has SOME leverage?

Finally, a good story to report about this mess. I would think the banks would try everything in their power to keep people in their homes. An empty home needs maintenance and other costs to keep it in shape. No mortgage payments at all mean no money coming in. A portion of the mortgage is better than none at all.

As John Stewart said: Give the bailout money to people who owe the banks money. They would pay off their houses and credit card bills, giving the banks the cash needed to open up credit lines. The best idea came from a late night comedy news host.

His statement is quite popular all over the internet. He told it to guest Gwen Ifill, who also seemed to agree with it.

Yes, I did see he told the theory again. I agree with Mr Stewart on using the TARP money that way. The banks would get an ingestion of needed cash, and people could pay off mortgages and credit card bills. The difficult thing would be to make sure that is what they did with it instead of spending it on frivolous things. We are a nation of debtors, and that would be one good solution to turn us into a nation of savers.
