Do you feel that miracles do happen in real life ?Any of you have seen or experienced ever, or it just that a coincidence is named as miracle ?

I don't think that there are miracles as I am an atheist. Nothing is a mircale because as a scientist said nothing is impossible. So what people believ to be a miracle could just be something that is rare and doesnt happen often.

I do believe in miracles...yes science can explain a lot of stuff...but at the same time there are things that can't be explained.

Miracles do happen. I believe that there's a higher being that rules us. At the same time, I am not in a rush to believe in miracles. I'm a skeptic. All angles have to be looked at and there should be insurmountable evidence pointing to an incident as a miracle.

I think there are no miracles as such,if something we desperately want to occur may be subconsciously, and there are bleak chance of that occurrence and if it happens, people tend to name them miracle. This what I think.

I'd say most "miracles" paraded around are merely extremely unlikely coincidences, as life with its many possibilities normally present. Even if there's a one in a million chance, that one instance will come and will be documented for the world to be awe of.

A more apt question than "Are miracles real?" is "Which miracles are real?"
We have to be able to determine the hoaxes from the real deal...and it's not an easy task. It could even be an impossible task. Discernment can be done by experts, not necessarily the church leaders. Nevertheless, people will believe what they want to believe. Don't jump the bandwagon is all I'm saying. ________ Toyota Sprinter Marino Last edited by blessed_soul; 02-05-2011 at 03:22 PM. |

I think there is something to the idea of mind over matter, if you think it is helping, then fuck it, maybe it will.

If you want to use the term "miracles" loosely, then miracles are found everywhere. Skeptics deny that miracles exist because they do not believe that God exists or they have not experienced one. Some miracles have been shown to be frauds and I support the exposure of these scams. However, by no means does it prove that all miracles are frauds.

I agree. I believe that there's a higher being that rules us. He is all-knowing and all-powerful and certainly capable of making miracles happen. False prophets are likewise seeking our attention too. They will be revealed in time. I suggest that we should be prudent in placing our faith.
