Those memos are quite scary. Many people call the conspiracy theorists crazy until evidence like those memos show up. I do wonder what stopped the Bush Administration from following those memos?
I also think there will be a lot more of news like this to come out in the next few years. Wait until some of those tell all books get released. I bet they have only just scratched the surface of what this Administration was up to or in the middle of planning. |

I hope Obama allows more of this to come forward and MORE IMPORTANTLY allow it to be prosecuted.

I believe the release of the information allows him to make a statement without really saying anything. I do hope the Senate does do hearings on torture and subverting the Constitution. People need to see the extent of what the previous Administration was up to. They also should be upset that their candy-ass lawmakers did nothing but rubber stamp whatever the Evil Emperor Cheney wanted.
The so-called liberal mass media should also be ashamed of themselves for not covering this very important and scary story. I only heard about this on Rachel Maddow's show (although I missed Keith Olbermann's show on this subject). |
