One moonstone that was given to the government of the Netherlands in 1971 has been proved to be a block of wood. The stone was said to be picked on the moon by the first moon expedtion. Some say this will give fuel to moon conspiracy theorists.

The question should be: Who stole the moon rock? I'm guessing someone sold it to a private collector for a lot of money.
The problem with the shot from the face shield is that the shield itself is curved and will show shadows differently than they really are. The little article did not take that into consideration. |
