Mystery Quest is a new show on History Channel that debuted on Wednesday, Sept 16. The first episode dealt with the mystery of what happened to Hitler in the bunker. The former Soviet Union had changed its story many times with Stalin said to have stated he always thought Hitler escaped. A portion of a charred skull that was claimed to have been Hitler was revealed in the 1990s.
Mystery Quest sent a specialist who was able to get samples of the blood found on the supposed original sofa and pieces of the skull for DNA analysis. The last original bodyguard was also interviewed, and he claimed he saw Hitler's body (along with Eva Braun's). An archeologist looked at several sites where Hitler's body was claimed to be buried and could not find any bone material. Also, an animator recreated the bunker and where Hitler was using the available plans of what was built. He claimed no one would of been able to hear a gunshot or anything else because the engine room was near where Hitler was. Others claim the bodyguard is not telling the truth. The DNA of the blood sample is male, but since Hitler's relatives did not return any communication they cannot determine if it is his. The skull's DNA shows it is a female skull. The mystery is now: What did happen to Hitler? Now that the mystery skull is female, did the Soviets really capture Hitler's body? Was Stalin right that Hitler did escape? The blood needs to be tested to show that it is either Hitler or someone else. The episode did show it was possible for Hitler to escape with the hidden ways to get in and out of the bunker. A fascinating story that just became even more fascinating. |

Hitler is probably the most lied about man in history today. Who knows if he escaped or not. It is a possibility.
All I know is that he was not a mad, evil man as everyone nowadays thinks.
