My husband and I have always felt that, even if 9/11 wasn't totally planned by the U.S. government, the government allowed the incident to take place.

It was used to execute sweeping changes in how the constitution is used, or discarded, and opened the door for this huge power grab by the administration.

Do you think the current administration saw this as an opportunity and allowed it to happen?

This was such a horrific event in this country which I still have a hard time even thinking about. I am not sure what I think but it would be a real shame if 100 or 200 years down the road it was proven that our very own government knew things that could have stopped it and didn't or worse.

I really don`t think they knew about it. But your right it would be terrible to find out that they did and did nothing to stop it. I don`t think they would let that many innocent lives be taken.

Well the government is accused of doing the same thing before (planning a tragedy to force the people into war and agendas), and history does have a habit of repeating itself

Good point.

Apparently, a fellow who owned one of the piloting schools contacted the FBI or CIA and let them know that these students were learning to fly the planes but showed no interest in learning to land, which is sort of a requirement.

Apparently the information wasn't passed on or, if it was, someone decided to sit on it.

saw an interview with Michael Moore discussing this in great detail.. funny how such obvious points are just swept under the rug

Well basically the owner of the piloting school was telling the government something they already knew

They have admitted to knowing and doing nothing about it thinking it was untrue.

I've often wondered about this particular theory. I'd like to believe it's total fallacy...but I can't be sure.

As prepared as they are to investigate activists, I have a hard time believing that they believed the report to be untrue!
