Oh, you should of told Gov Palin to use that in her campaign appearances. The crowd would of loved that one!

Oh. My. God. I can't believe the US is still a desirable place to live. Just so you don't get too depressed, just take George Carlin's advice and not take the phrase "American Dream" wholeheartedly; because you have to be asleep to believe it.
Now that Obama's in, I'm interested to see how far he can get us back to our original stature, preferably the one post-WWII. You know America... the one where we actually made stuff and could still afford to import things too. |

The biggest problem is President Bush and his staff stopped caring after the 2006 elections. It seems they decided to give all the problems to the next president. They just made sure the crash wasn't too bad, but look how they are kicking everything to Pres Elect Obama. I don't think they are worried about any sort of legacy any more.

I'm in total, utter disagreement. It is my opinion that the man has the spirit of Martin Luther King in him, with the charisma of John F. Kennedy. Great politician, impeccable speaker. He speaks about peace like it's a goal of his for this term. If that isn't a man you can trust, then why bother even having a government?

Say a republican led measure from earlier this year is proven to have actually worked to benefit the average citizen. If Obama didn't vote on the measure, he can brag that he didn't oppose it. By the same token, if a bipartisan measure is proven to have hurt the average citizen, and he didn't vote on it, he can declare he didn't support it. His (lack of a) voting record allows him to change with the winds, if that's his intention. I don't want a 'great politician'. I want a great leader, and he's yet to prove he's one of those. |

I also want his f-ing wife to shut the hell up for four years. Pretty much everything she says is tinged with "angry black woman" attitude. I don't have time for anyone who wants to make race an issue in America, particularly if she's a prominent political figure.
