The problem with Iran (other than its nutty leader) is we really don't know how far advanced they are with their striking capability. It is unfortunate, but I do agree with what was done in the Cold War: Let the intelligence and special ops take care of this and not let the public know about it. After reading all about these rogue dictators who have nuclear warheads, I do wish it was back to us not knowing what the hell was going on in the world. Most people now have nightmares about the end of the world. That did not happen when they did not know about what dictator held what type of knowledge. The CIA or whatever agency would assassinate the dictator, and a US friendly person would take over. The news of the regime change would be in the international section of the newspaper, which only die hard type people read.
