This has been kicked around since Ronald Reagan was president. He was very popular, and the Republicans wanted to keep him around as long as they could. Don't think this is a Democrat idea, as whenever there is a popular president this gets brought up. It would never pass because of the red and blue states.

I think all the past presidents stepped down after two terms because George Washington stated two terms were enough.

Now the former presidents live like kings, so I would be tempted to just do one term.

Whatever. Biden has been a politico for what 35 years. All those politicos in DC(District of Criminals) have been in office years & years so nothing will change if it goes through or not.

VP Biden does not want to run for president when his term is over.

Is Biden going to retire or keep his hand in the cookie jar?

They all got their hands in the proverbial cookie jar. They still aren't as bad as Senators in the late 19th/early 20th Centuries. Those men knew how to be corrupt!
